Lauderdale, Assistant Surgeon, 19th TN Calvary, CSA purchased this land in 1891 and it remains in the family. After the Civil War he became a minister of the Christian Church, becoming the first full time minister of the First Christian Church, Breckenridge, TX where he remained until his death in 1895.
